On February 15, 2022, the Governor’s authority to issue emergency orders related to the COVID-19 pandemic expired. Governor Lamont has signed into law House Bill 5047, which provides the legal framework for COVID-19-related rules for schools issued by state agencies through June 30, 2022, including mask requirements.
