Tom Mooney and Natalia Sieira Millan will present the Connecticut Associations of Schools webinar, “Employee Discipline: The Graduate Course.”

Supervision and evaluation of employees is a core responsibility of school administrators, and sometimes supervision includes imposing discipline on employees. Tom and Natalia will address common problems that arise when employee discipline is necessary, such as establishing “just cause” (including progressive discipline), investigating employee misconduct, related disability claims, and defining the role of the Union in investigatory interviews. They will also share strategies for documenting disciplinary action, including templates for disciplinary letters in various situations.
