mooneyslblogOn April 24th, Thomas Mooney and Gwen Zittoun will present, “Legal Matters That Every Administrative Assistant Should Know” at the Connecticut Association of Schools Conference for School Secretaries and Administrative Assistants.  This presentation will cover new laws and the up-to-date legal issues that every administrative assistant should know.

The CAS Conference for School Secretaries and Administrative Assistants is a one-day program designed to support the daily work of school secretaries and administrative assistants and their important contributions to a school’s climate and positive teaching and learning environment. The program includes up-to-the-minute information and practical suggestions to help secretaries do their job even better. Attendees will spend time addressing issues that relate to their daily work; in such areas as legal issues surrounding school security and safety, electronic communication devices, student records retention, special education, state and federal laws.

For additional event information, registration details and an overall program agenda, please reference the CAS event brochure.
