According to reporting completed by Connecticut school districts, funding from the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (“ARRA”), commonly known as “The Stimulus Package,” saved or created 5,301 education jobs in Connecticut. The same data indicates that no ARRA funding has been spent on infrastructure improvements by Connecticut school districts. The data is included in a report issued Monday by the U.S. Department of Education. For a copy of the report click here.
